In February 2026, we completed one of our largest projects – comprehensive replacement of 84 windows in a multi-family building on the Markiewicza estate in Krosno. The project involved removing old wooden windows and installing modern PVC windows in the Aluplast Ideal 8000 system.
Scope of work
The project included:
- Removal of 84 old wooden windows from the 1990s
- Installation of new PVC windows Aluplast Ideal 8000 with triple glazing
- Replacement of 12 balcony doors with PSK sliding system
- Installation of humidity-controlled ventilators
- Finishing of internal and external window sills
Logistical challenges
Replacing windows in an occupied building requires precise organisation. We carried out the work in stages – 6-8 apartments per day, with a team of 4 installation crews. Each apartment was ready for use the same evening, minimising inconvenience for residents.
Thermal modernisation results
After window replacement, residents noted:
- Heating cost reduction of 35% compared to the previous season
- Significant noise reduction – particularly important due to the proximity of the road
- Elimination of draughts and condensation problems
